Hot air balloon with Russians crashes in UAE: 2 people killed, 10 injured
During the flight, the balloon suddenly tilted and started falling. After the fall, the basket bounced off the ground and rolled. Here is what a surviving tourist from Russia said:
"The basket started hitting the ground, bouncing off it, then the balloon got tangled, the basket went somersaulting along the ground. At one of these moments, I already passed out, because I hit my head very hard. Then I woke up: I was already lying on the sand, an ambulance was taking me away. I saw a mess of people. Everyone was buckled up, but someone fell out, because the belt came off the basket."
