«Adrian Waughtal, who has been identified by the sheriff's office as the driver of the car involved in the chase, was denied bond, taken out of the St. Tammany Parish jail and transferred to an unknown facility.
Waughtal, 17, was arrested Sunday morning in Orleans Parish as a fugitive after a St. Tammany deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Waughtal sped away from the scene and refused to stop.

«Found the location: An Indiana State Police Trooper was struck and killed in the line of duty Wednesday night.
ISP Trooper Aaron Smith, 33, of Franklin, was deploying stop sticks during a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle on Ronald Reagan Parkway, north of I-70 in Plainfield.
Trooper Smith was struck by the suspect vehicle and critically injured. Emergency medical care was rendered at the scene.
Smith was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.»
